Life perfectly captures the music he's been taking in on his travels, fusing his own unique style with elements from Brazil, Thailand, India and even Egypt. Of course that doesn't spell the end of Ricky's trademark catchy choruses and snake hip grooves. Tracks like It's Alright and I Don't Care, featuring Fat Joe and Amerie, lean a little more towards R&B than before but several tracks are still destined to have punters salsa-ing for Britain, albeit with a bit of Indian dance thrown in as well.
Daddy Yankee (champion of the reggaeton scene) adds his uniquely Hispanic rap flavour, while Will.i.am from Black Eyed Peas, Scott Storch, George Noriega and hit production team the Matrix help to give the album its surprisingly urban edge.[/align]
